What Are Some Examples of Common Filters in Advanced Analytics?
Below are some examples of common filters used in Advanced Analytics Trends- No Relationship, Trends-Provider Relationship, and Trends-Facility Relationship report. Each filter can be used in Trends when accessing the "123" filter in the data displayer.
Referring Sources that referred this year, but not last year
For example: Comparing providers who referred in (current) 2018, but not (previous) 2017.
1. Click on the "123" filter.
2. Select from the dropdown menu, >= 1 in the 2018 refs filter
3. Then select from the drop-down menu <= and enter 0 in the 2017 refs filter
4. Select the empty check boxes next to each filter you want to populate.
5. Turn the filter on by selecting the grey button next to the 123.
Referring sources who referred last year, but not this year.
For example: Comparing providers who referred in (previous) 2017, but not (current) 2018.
1. Click on the "123" filter.
2. Select from the dropdown menu, < = 0 in the 2018 refs filter
3. Then select from the drop down menu > = and enter 1 in the 2017 refs filter
4. Select the empty checkboxes next to each filter you want to populate.
5. Turn the filter on by selecting the grey button next to the 123.
